Habitat Day of Prayer

Habitat for HumanitySunday, October 6, 2013 is International Day of Prayer and Action for Human Habit.

This is a time when the entire Habitat for Humanity community is urged to come together in prayer for those in need of shelter and to place in the hearts and minds of people everywhere the idea that poverty housing is unacceptable. Join us in this effort to become a part of a worldwide focus on praying and taking action for families in need of shelter.

So that we may continue to serve families in Madison and Clark Counties, please consider making a special offering during your worship service in honor of Habitat for Humanity of Madison & Clark Counties. The financial support is needed in order to build our 100th home for our new family, Ron & Marsha Cochran.

Habitat Day of Prayer is a wonderful means of partnering Habitat for Humanity with congregations of faith. The partnership assists congregations in fulfilling missions and goals and provides a means for congregations to center around God’s call to serve one another, especially God’s children in need of shelter.
