A NOTE FROM SR. PAT CATALDI REGARDING FR. BEITING

“Sunday evening Fr. Beiting was brought to the hospital with what was first considered heat exhaustion, and after being rehydrated he was feeling better, but some tests were run given his past history.

There were some cardiac enzyme abnormalities and by morning this continued so he was moved to the ICU and saw the cardiologist. Last PM he was transferred to King’s Daughters in Ashland for a cardiac catheterization which was done this morning. He was found to have blockages in a number of thecoronary arteries and was being evaluated for open heart surgery.

I do not know yet what will be decided but wanted to let you know what is happening in view of the upcoming celebration in Berea.  Will keep you informed.”
